   • Key Finding:
     • License Incompatibility
       • iDempiere (GPLv2) requires complete source code distribution for all components
       • ZK Open Source License (ZOL) prohibits distributing ZK EE source code
       • ZK cannot qualify as "system library exception"
   • Historical context: Same issue identified in 2010 and 2022
   • Decisions
     • Licensing (Point 1):
       • iDempiere core cannot bundle ZK EE in official releases due to GPL incompatibility
       • Individual implementors can use ZK EE with separate licenses (like existing Pivot integration from Marco/Hideaki)
       • Project stance: Useful for implementors, not for project distribution
     • Collaboration on Points 2-4:
     • Committee agrees to keep channels open for:
       • Plugin development guidance (implementor-specific)
       • Theming/UI improvements (ZK CE/LGPL compatible)
