- The first video from the iDempiere Conference 2025 has been published. Session: What’s New in iDempiere: Key Updates Since the Last Conference by Carlos Ruiz
- Bug fixes
- Post-conference survey results
- Overall experience was satisfactory. A suggestion to have a clearer structure for the workshop.
- The idea includes brainstorming the topics beforehand with attendants, probably via mail. So you don't spend any time doing that and can start right away and be more prepared.
- We invite @marcolongo to the next marketing meeting to discuss the next conference.
- Community upgrade period
- So, the proposal is to use that as a base to document the upgrade progress, best practices and so on ... We can also use the session held by Carlos in Budapest to do that
- Once that is well documented we can make a community event (a week or so) to upgrade, and most efforts from us and core team can go to support people with their upgrade path
- We focus first on the documentation process. Carlos mentioned in his session the importance of everything that starts before even thinking about upgrading: not diverging from core, using best practices in plug-ins, contributing back to the core what can be extended in a plugin, etc ...
- Let's build this into blog and weekly ' this week in iDempiere ' communication.
- So, the proposal is to use that as a base to document the upgrade progress, best practices and so on ... We can also use the session held by Carlos in Budapest to do that
- Common QuickInfo & Charts Repository
- Carlos proposes to use the wiki for this
- Heng Sin proposes to use github, github-pages and github-actions for such things
