- Plug-in sponsorship initiative - follow up
- Makers with permission may ask for sponsorship and donations on official channels.
- The marketing team is only responsible to review the indivual cases and grant permission. In comparission to core sponsorship, we do not endorse or push such initiatives
- After approval from the committee, the plugin contributor can write the message asking for sponsorship (including the disclaimer) in official channels.
- The person can post the sponsorship message on official channels anytime a major event happens (plugin release, improvement, new features, etc ...)
- The message in the plugin wiki site can be static and stay there indefinitely (This might change in the future if we create the market place and allow only plugins that run with the latest stable version).
- The contributor can set up campaigns with goals and milestones (completely managed by its site) and post more often as long as he offers something new, a new POC, a new image, an advancements. In these cases the marketing committee reserves the right to delete the message if they considere it does not comply with the guidelines
- Every message has to include the disclaimer: Disclaimer: This initiative is acknowledged (though not officially endorsed) by the iDempiere project. This is a third-party initiative, and all interactions, financial or otherwise, are solely at the user's own descretion
