Summary of the day:
- How to get the data to create a more consistent marketing message, which db is being used, OS, idempiere version, why people in the forums are installing the previous version instead of the new one ... (Heng Sin's proposal)
- We need automated tests, implement a .1 and .2 release approach, send a clear message if stable versions and maintained versions with its distinctions. Have an archive for every stable build.
- The idea is to create a scheduler that runs a process that collects data on production which can be easily turned off. Asking in the homepage when starting the app the first time (or until the question is answered)
- send a copy of the data being collected to the administrator
- All data must be anonymized
- Users can stop it easily at any time
- The next meeting we brainstorm what info wants to be collected
