Description

The Scale Connector For iDempiere project allows in first place, the materials weighing from iDempiere ERP Open Source, thus providing the tools necessary to optimize the receipt of raw material and dispatch of finished product in the productive chain of a company, saving time and resources.

ScaleConnector can be configured to sync with any device or sensor (temperature, humidity, pressure, weighing, accountant, etc.) that communicate through the RS-232 serial port.

Architecture

This plugin was designed to work remotely, and integrate with iDempiere WebUI. It works this way: iDempiere makes a request to the host on which you want to read the balance, this access to the serial port, gets the weight and then send a response with the information to iDempiere.
