Bank statement

iDempiere uses a concept called "Bank statement" to reconcile bank accounts and other similiar accounts. Similiar accounts can be any kind of account where you account payments and/or where money doesn't transfer immediately.
Typically payments involve a few steps like:
- Prepare payment
- Ask bank or someone else to do a payment for you
- Receive a confirmation that the payment has been made.
Depending on the way of payment there can be different amount of time between the steps. A bank statement constitutes the final step in this chain and when the bank statement is completed, we're telling the system that we confirm that money has transferred to complete a payment.
