Note: Challenge of JPiere: When create production system, everyone forked from iDempiere(ADempiere/Compiere) usually . And maintained it themselves. But it is not so easy, because ERP is very big system and advancing technology is early. On the other hand, To fork from repository of community is to separate power of community. Challenge of JPiere is to create production system without doing fork from iDempiere. It reduce load of the maintenance, and can concentrate to community activity. JPiere hopes the prosperity of iDempiere community.
About JPiere
- JPiere is “Japan + iDempiere”.
- JPiere is Plugins of iDempiere for Japan and JPiere is Distribution(Distro) of iDempiere for Japan.
- JPiere provides not only Japanese business practice, but also various functions.So, Everybody in the world can use JPiere.
- JPiere can update latest iDempiere. So, JPiere don’t need fork from iDempiere. To fork from JPiere is Good idea! But not need fork from iDempiere!
- Data base of JPiere is PostgreSQL only.
- UI of JPiere is Web-UI only.
Version number of JPiere
- JPiere is plugins of iDempiere.
- So,To make intelligible, Version number of JPiere is same as version number of iDempiere.

Series of ZK Window X
- ZK Window X was named by Red1(Thank you for giving good name).
- ZK Window X in the JPiere3.1 is comprised of three plugins of the next.
- ZK Window X1:columns within a column (Multi‐Line Column Window / Form Window)
- ZK Window X2:rows within a row (Matrix Window)
- ZK Window X3:Simple Input Window
- Fully plugin with own metadata without impacting core.
- If you use series of ZK Window X appropriately, User of your customer get good user experience.
ZK Window X1:Columns within a column (I call this plugin Multi‐Line Column Window or Form Window)
- ZK Window X1(Form Window) included JPiere-beta. But, In JPiere3.1, ZK Window X1 was improved to several functions.
- Most important improvement is to zoom from other window to ZK Window X1(Form Window).So, ZK Window X1(Form Window) can do instead of standard window perfectly.
- Second important improvement is as follows.
Note: Please do not misunderstand, JPiere respect standard window of iDempiere very much. On the other hand, JPiere want to show, it is possible to change window engine from standard window engine to other window engine that you developed without impact core of iDempiere. It widens possibility of iDempiere that we can change Window engine without impact core.
ZK Window X2:Rows within a row (I call this plugin Matrix Window)
- ZK Window X2 introduces more rows within a row(I call this plugin Matrix Window)
- Matrix Window can create a denormalization window from normalization table.
- Matrix Window can create by parameter setting only.
ZK Window X3:Simple Input Window
- The purpose of Simple Input Window is to input data easy and quickly.
- Simple Input Window can edit only one tab of standard window. In stead of that, Simple Input Window can input data easy and quickly, and can operate like a spreadsheet.
